About
Hi! I’m Jaime. I’m a very passionate audio designer. I deeply enjoy creating interesting soundscapes. I really enjoy combining audio with visuals, and I have a deep interest in sound in all its facets: from synthesis to foley; from composing orchestral music to weaving ambient textures. Sound, to me, is not just an element of production — it’s an immersive medium, capable of crawling under one’s skin, serving as a storytelling element and evoking raw and complex emotions.
With experience in both linear music and interactive audio, I craft everything from cinematic precision to intricate adaptive sound design. Whether recording foley, designing ambient layers, or implementing audio systems, my focus is always on creating unique and powerful audio that enhances the overall experience. Collaboration is central to my work. I think it is fundamental to understand every area of a production and maintain great communication; to bounce ideas around and really think about how audio can fit within the whole experience, both as a sensory element and as an artistic, entertaining and narrative one. I’m also passionate about experimentation, always aiming for unique, tailored results.
In other news, I have a beautiful orange cat (yes, he’s crazy). I love cooking oriental and Italian food, and I love training in boxing.
